SportGether
Cookie Notice
Last updated: June 12, 2026
This notice explains how SportGether uses cookies and similar browser storage to support sign-in, guest registration management, language preferences, and service security.
Essential cookies
SportGether uses essential cookies and session tokens to keep members signed in, protect form submissions, separate public sessions from admin sessions, and allow guest registration management links to work securely.
- sportgether_public_session
- HTTP-only member session cookie. Used for public-app sign-in and refreshed for up to 7 days while active.
- hike_csrf
- CSRF token cookie. Used to protect forms and state-changing actions from cross-site request forgery. Stored for up to 7 days.
- hike_locale
- Language preference cookie. Used to keep the selected language consistent across pages.
- Guest links
- Guest registration access is mainly controlled by private URL tokens, not a tracking cookie. Keep those URLs private.
Preference storage
SportGether may remember non-sensitive preferences, such as your selected language, so the public app remains consistent as you browse activities and manage registrations.
Analytics and advertising
The current public app does not require advertising cookies. Rich text editing may load scripts from a CDN provider when editor screens are used. If analytics, monitoring, or marketing cookies are introduced later, this notice should be updated to explain what is collected and what choices are available.
Managing cookies
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Blocking essential cookies may prevent sign-in, RSVP updates, CSRF protection, and guest registration management from working correctly.
